Training & Recruitment

What is the Rialto Re-Entry Support Team (RRST)?

The Rialto Police Department’s, RRST was formed in October of 2013 to serve as a link between Rialto’s citizens on active Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS), probation and parole with services provided by: the San Bernardino County Probation Department, the city’s Faith Based Organizations (FBO’s), nonprofit Community Based Organizations (CBO’s), Work Force Development Centers, Department of Behavioral Health, substance abuse and other social service providers. With the implementation of a Rialto based collaborative we can work together with our community to effectively identify, serve and place clients (US Department of Labor).

What is the benefit of the RRST?

Selected participants (PRCS, probation, parole) in the community can conveniently network with service providers, speak face to face with a representative, educate themselves with the services and receive training available throughout the City of Rialto.

What servies will RSST provide?

The RRST will hold monthly Resource Meetings. The meetings will link early release persons with various services such as: medical, couseling/therapy, support groups, social services, education, occupational skills, and employment.
